First female president in the US

On November 8 2016 the citizens

of the United States of America

elected a new president who would

take the place after Barack Obama.

The elected candidate who would

become president was 40-year-old

Celine Bengtson from Sweden. 

This was quite a shocking turn of

event since she was the first female

to be president in the United States

of America.

Celine Bengtson is the new president of the United States. She is the first female president in American history, and the citizens of America seem to have high hopes for the new woman who will lead the country. But it also caused some small kind of chaos since the rules of an election is that the candidate have to be indigenous of the US. This was a strict rule, but Celine charmed the whole nation by standing for the civil-, female- and equality rights. There have been some complaints from a small amount of people, but most of the citizens, especially the youths, are standing by her side. The rule was therefor removed.

And not only are the youths of America standing by her side, but also a high percentage of the Nordic countries, especially Sweden, where Celine is from.

As many people know Sweden is on the top list of the most equal countries.  America’s rank on the list is increasing, but is still struggling with some parts, and Celine says in an interview with the New York Times that she’s had a hard time with some of the people in the White House because they don’t take her seriously. When the New York Times ask her why it is so, Celine answers:

“The answer is simple. It’s because I’m a female. I was born and raised with the knowledge that I can become whatever I want and to be myself. And that’s something I’m still carrying with me. You can still become whatever you want despite if you’re being a girl. I just hope the members of the White House understand that. If ladies have the right to vote, then ladies can become presidents.”

The one that Celine had to face in the election was 64-year-old Steve King from Storm Lake, Iowa, but Celine had the predominant votes.

Celine has so far done many things as president. One of them is “the Outreach Foundation” that Celine founded with the idea to help the ones around us.

There is one orientation to the homeless and those who suffer, building good homeless shelters so that they have a home and prevents them from living in the dangerous streets.

The second orientation is a center for women who feel unsafe in their homes. They can live in the center and create things to sell or put out in exhibition to make the woman independent and to reinvigorate their lives. This has been a giant success.
