Christmas Market celebrated its 10th anniversary with blizzard

Now the annual Christmas Market in the provincial Alcester has reached its end for this year. This year they celebrated 10 years anniversary with a blizzard.

Yesterday it was time for the annual Christmas Market in the small town Alcester. The Christmas market celebrated 10 years anniversary and the organizers for the event had elected to bring the biggest choir in England who would sing carols for the visitors. The children and the youths were going to face Santa Claus.

This year the Christmas market didn’t go by the plan. There was a blizzard when the market had begun and there was not many visitors that showed up. There were many complaints when the choir didn´t show up. The choir ended up in a traffic jam.

Despite the storm  Santa Claus came by as he had promised and he gave the children presents and hot chocolate. Santa Claus brought a giant bag with many presents. The children became very happy when they saw all the gifts.

The people that were at the market said there was lot of Christmas spirit when it snowed. Every year the Christmas Market has an art exhibition. When you have looked at the art, you can participate in a little quiz about the art you´ve seen. If you win the quiz you get an award and that is an enormously beautiful star that you can place in the window.

When we talked to the ones who represent the market they said that selling part had not increased this year. They hope the weather will not be equivalent next year but we can’t prevent it, but we can always wish for a Christmas miracle for the next year.
