Five people dead in London bombing
In November
5th 2013 five civilians died in a bombing.
The bomb has killed at least five people, and over fifteen people
were brought to the hospital because of their injuries. Another two
people were injured, but the medical staff that was in place decided
that they didn’t need hospital care.
The bombing took place in Soho, a London
suburb, in the late afternoon. The police says that the bomb wasn’t too big and
that it didn’t even become half the disaster it could have been, and even
though it was a fatal explosion, it could have gone way worse.
This bombing has chocked a lot of people,
and now even the Prime minister has commented on this overwhelming
situation. He says that he’s been told that whoever is behind this will face at
least fourteen years in prison, but hopefully even more.
Even though the police say that this wasn’t
such a big explosion as it could have been, witnesses have other things to say.
A woman who was one block away from the explosions claims that it
was a major explosion and that she felt the vibe from the bomb all the
way to where she was, although the medical staff says that it’s probably just
the chock talking. The woman on the other hand says that other people from the area
have pointed this out as well.
The police have gone out in media saying
that they have some suspects. They don’t want to say too much yet, but they
think that it is supremacists who were behind the bombing. They also assure
us that they can tell us more really soon.
